Free public event helps homeowners prevent damage from excess storm runoff

On Oct. 24, Red Squirrel is presenting Keep Your Basement Dry, an open public forum that will teach homeowners everything they need to know to keep water out of their basement using low-cost solutions.

But while Kingscourt is the focus of Kingscourt Groundbreakers, flooding can happen in homes anywhere in Kingston, so the information provided at the event will be useful to anyone in the city who wants to keep their basement dry and mould-free.
The Keep Your Basement Dry open forum will take place on Monday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m., at 255 Kingscourt Ave (at the Youth Unlimited building). The event is free of charge and open to all.
